The Journey of Fashions Wadata
Founded in the early 1990s, we began as a humble family tailoring business specializing in traditional African wear. Over the years, we evolved into a leading garment manufacturing company, officially incorporated in 2016. Under the leadership of our CEO, Dauda Abdullahi, we now proudly employ over 110 skilled workers, including 88 machinists. We are dedicated to community development, sustainability, and creating jobs while delivering high-quality apparel to our clients worldwide.

During the mid-1990s, the company expanded its operations, employing six skilled workers and producing high-quality two-piece and three-piece kaftans. Its growing reputation led to opportunities such as providing costumes for popular Ghanaian television productions, including Ultimate Paradise and Mma Nkomo.

The founder laid the foundation for what would become one of Ghana’s respected garment manufacturing companies by instilling values of excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction. These principles created a lasting legacy that enabled the business to grow beyond traditional apparel into industrial garment manufacturing.

Following the founder’s stewardship, the business was inherited by Mr. Dauda Abdullahi, who modernized and expanded the company into Fashions Wadata Enterprise Ltd., a leading manufacturer of security uniforms, institutional apparel, and specialized garments serving major organizations across Ghana.

Legacy

The founder’s vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to quality continue to guide Fashions Wadata Enterprise Ltd. today, as the company grows toward becoming one of West Africa’s leading garment manufacturers
